ACKNOWLEDGEL

TRADE MARKS IN HONGKONG.

We have a few very valuable Trade Marks, which

are our registered property in this country, but are

registered in the joint names of ourselves and a

German firm in Hongkong. As these marks can never

be made use of by the German firm again, and are our

property here, we should be glad to know if

we are

entitled to make use of these marks for the Hongkong

market at the present time. The use of the marks in

queation has naturally been suspended since the

beginning of the War, and should we be unable to make

use of them in the very near future, we fear their value will have entirely vanished, a fact which would injure British Trade to the benefit of the derman.
